The Hindu Career Counselling Workshop
The Hindu EducationPlus annual career counselling session aims to provide valuable inputs for students who have completed PUC or 12th. The program is conducted in various locations across Karnataka to provide information regarding the various career options and what needs to be done by the students in the relevant stream. The program also provides information regarding the career streams available apart from the Engineering and Medical streams.
Kala Balasubramanian, Counsellor from Inner Dawn conducted the workshop for students. She spoke regarding the need to be aware of ones career choice based on ones own inherent abilities (aptitude), interest areas and basic traits/attitude (personality).
In an interactive session she engaged the students in a discussion regarding the other career streams available for students apart from the Engineering and Medical streams.
