One of the most important topics that parents need to take up on priority to talk to their children, irrespective of gender and age to keep their children safe is about Sex, Sexuality, Safety and online Adult content.

When even parents, who are educated and with adequate exposure to the world, shy away from talking to their children about safety, sex, sexuality and sexual safety, it can be assumed that for other parents it could be an even more arduous task.

“When children are exposed to graphic adult content at an early age, it leads to a distorted understanding of sex and in the absence of a responsible parent or adult whom they can seek clarifications from, they tend to believe that the portrayed sexual behavior is the norm.”  This has a long term impact on the sexual behavior and attitude of the child and influences them when they grow up to be adults as well.
